​The "UNITED FEDERATION OF TOURISM" non-commercial organization is a public association of citizens of the Republic of Armenia, citizens of foreign countries, persons without citizenship, and legal entities. 

 

The organization's goals are:

• development of tourism and aviation sector,

• ensuring healthy and fair competition in the sector and related sectors,

• the collection of statistical data in the field of tourism,

• membership in international structures in the field of tourism,

• conducting the policy of sustainable development of tourism in the RA tourism sector,

• ensuring public sector-private sector cooperation.

 

To realize its goals and objectives, the organization cooperates with state administration and regional governmental bodies, similar international and foreign organizations, and other organizations registered in the Republic of Armenia.

The tasks of the organization are:

• protection of interests of members and member organizations on issues related to the sector,

• ensuring fair competition in the sector,

• detection of individuals or legal entities engaged in unscrupulous activities in the field, appropriate warnings, implementation of actions arising from the interests of the field in accordance with RA legislation,

• to take appropriate measures in order to ensure equal competition in the field, in particular the implementation of both monitoring of control functions and incentive measures,

• organization of training, exchange of experience, organization of courses and other similar events in order to increase the quality of services provided by members and member organizations,

• development and implementation of joint programs with member organizations,

• presenting or offering the services offered by members and member organizations in Armenian and international markets, exhibitions, during other events related to the sector,

• Strengthening the Armenia-Diaspora connection,

• creation of closer ties within the framework of public sector-private sector cooperation, submission of legislative proposals, opinions, provision of statistics and other information relevant to the sector to state bodies, as well as other beneficiaries, etc.
